The job

Canals across open farmland, lined in concrete so they keep their shape and their water, with steel gates to control the flow.

What we did

Setting out and levels, excavation, concrete lining in rectangular and trapezoidal sections, and steel sluice gates seated in reinforced concrete.

On site

The canal was inspected along its length with the people responsible for the scheme, checking lining, levels and water flow.
